Design for Porcelain Plate: Sagittarius, Farcical Zodiac Service

A small watercolor vignette framed in ruled ink on cream paper shows a seated archer-like figure in a rounded hat aiming a bow at a child beside a stone bridge with an arched opening. Above, two figures lean over a railing against bare trees. A French caption in faded script sits below the frame, and the pale wash and gouache give the scene a soft, miniature quality.
