Design for a Wall-mounted Epitaph
A pen and brown ink design, washed in gray, yellow and pink, for a wall-mounted epitaph. A scrolled Baroque cartouche crowns a stone frame with volutes, garlands and a shell-shaped base. The central panel is left blank, marked with faint dimension lines for its size.
Look closer: Faint dimension lines and handwritten measurement marks cross the blank central panel.
