Destined to Succeed in the Examinations

Three chubby children with topknots play on a tiled floor inside an octagonal frame. One boy leans over another while a third sits at right, holding a brush beside a pair of coins. Bamboo branches in ink float above a red-railed courtyard with a rock garden.

Look closer: A pair of coins lies on the floor in front of the seated child, with a brush in the child's hand.
