Double-tier Mirror
A round bronze mirror with a pierced openwork design of four interlocking, serpentine creatures with curled tails and scrolled bodies, arranged around a central knob. Green patina and corrosion cover the surface, and the cutout background reveals the dark ground beneath.
Look closer: The curled spiral scrolls along the outer rim blend into the corroded edge and are easy to overlook.
