Dragging a Statue of Thutmose I

A tempera facsimile of a tomb scene in which red-skinned men in loincloths haul a sledge bearing a statue, pulling ropes and pressing forward. A figure in a blue crown and pleated white kilt stands at right, and a fan-bearing attendant and a row of white-robed women fill the upper left; two cartouches hang above.

Look closer: Small hieroglyphic cartouches sit in the upper center panel, legible as royal names.
