Dream Woman, pastel portrait by Alice Pike Barney

A soft pastel portrait shows a young woman with a dark bobbed haircut, head tilted and her chin resting on her hand. Blended greens and grays model her face and shoulders against a muted, smoky background, with a faint signature at lower right.
