Eurydice
A carved marble relief shows a nude young woman with loosely bound hair, leaning slightly as she rests one hand on a tall fluted vase and holds a drapery in the other. A snake coils across the base near her feet, while the textured background sets off her smooth, polished figure.
Look closer: A small snake coils around the base of the figure's leg, nearly hidden by the drapery.
