Figures on the Anthoniesdijk Entering Houtewael (verso)

A pencil sketch on tan paper shows a row of low houses with steep roofs, chimneys, and a tall tree at the right, set on a faint horizon. Small figures stand near the trees in the centre, and a path curves across the sparse foreground toward the buildings.
