Foxes Meeting at Oji
A large bare tree stands at left above a crowd of pale orange foxes gathering in a dark, grassy field under a starry sky. Small lanterns or fires glow faintly in the distance, and the bold ink outlines and layered color are typical of Hiroshige's woodblock technique.
Look closer: Faint lanterns or fires glow in the distant field toward the right, and a red cartouche with the title sits at upper right.
