Frieze Fragment with Chariot Procession

A long rectangular stone slab carved in low relief, with an undulating cloud or wave scroll along the top band. Below, worn figures of horses pull small carriages with canopies across a textured ground, the engraved outlines softened by age.

Look closer: Faint engraved lines of the wave scroll continue along the top band, and small curved forms appear at the lower edge.
