Garden of the Tuileries, Paris

A quiet park scene in soft morning light, with a stone balustrade on the left, a tall palm and dense trees, and a pale statue on a plinth in the right foreground. A distant building with a tower rises above the foliage under a grey-blue sky. Loose, painterly brushwork in oil on canvas.
