Grasshopper on Pomegranate

A pomegranate branch curves diagonally across the sheet, bearing cracked, ripe fruit, red and orange blossoms and serrated leaves. A green grasshopper rests on the lower fruit, and four lines of black calligraphy sit at the upper left, printed in bold colour washes.

Look closer: Faint marks and a small inscription sit in the lower right margin, below the blossoms.
