Handle of a Jiangu Drum
A bronze handle in the form of an open ring rising from a square base, with a dense cluster of raised knobs at its center decorated with stylized animal masks and fine geometric bands. Green patina covers the surfaces, and the base is incised with patterns along its edges.
Look closer: Fine incised spiral and geometric patterns run along the edge of the square base.
