Happy New Year
A festive New Year scene in a walled courtyard, with a tall conical tower of red-outlined lanterns rising at the center. Crowds watch from tiled balconies and gather below, while a procession with a palanquin and a red dragon-like figure fills the foreground. The woodblock print uses pink, green, ochre and black.
