Etching of a man's head in three-quarter view, with curly hair and a serious, frowning expression.

Head of a man with serious expression

An etched head of an older man turned three-quarters to the left, with a deeply lined brow, heavy-lidded eyes and a set mouth. Dense cross-hatching models the face and falling curls, while loose strokes fade into the shoulder and background.

Look closer: A small signature 'W. Hollar fecit' is etched in the lower right corner.
