Headdress Ornament
A curved headdress ornament of gilt metal filigree, with openwork scrolls and lotus-like leaves backed in bright blue-green kingfisher feathers. Three round dark red cabochon stones are set along the arc, and a single metal prong extends from the centre for mounting in hair.
Look closer: A small metal prong extends from the centre underside, meant to pin the ornament into hair.
