Headdress Ornament
A gilt metal headdress ornament forms a stylized flower cluster, its openwork petals and leaves filled with turquoise enamel outlined in fine gold wire. A large red glass bead anchors the central blossom, with smaller beads on the side flowers and loops at the base for attaching it to hair.
Look closer: Small gold loops hang beneath the lower flowers, used to attach the ornament.
