Hercules in the Garden of the Hesperides

A pen and brown ink drawing shows a muscular nude male figure, Hercules, standing on a ground line and bearing a large round shield and a sweeping cloak over one shoulder. Hatched shading behind him suggests a cloudy or leafy backdrop, with a coiled serpent and foliage near his feet.
