Herkimer, Bare Tree and Church by a Lake
A bare tree stands in the foreground of a misty landscape, with a pebbled shore or field leading toward a lake. On the hillside beyond, a small white church with a steep roof sits among dark wooded slopes under a cloudy sky. The monochrome wash drawing is signed and dated in the lower right, reading Herkimer, May 97.
