Hopi Pottery Painters

Two seated women paint decorated pottery on a woven rug inside an adobe room. The woman at left, in a dark teal dress and red sash, holds a painted bowl, while the woman at right holds a pot and looks toward the viewer. A large undecorated jar and a bowl rest in the foreground.
