Incense Burner (Boshan Lu)
A bronze incense burner with a tall, pierced conical lid carved with layered peaks, animals and small figures, set on a rounded bowl with a stepped rim and a flared stem foot. Green patina covers the surface, and the openwork would release fragrant smoke through its gaps.
Look closer: A small seated figure and animal are carved within the lower openwork arch of the lid.
