Initial P with the Martyrdom of Saint Peter Martyr

Within a large blue initial P on cream parchment, a figure in a blue robe stands with a dark blade lodged in his head, beside a haloed friar in a black habit who raises a hand. Orange and white foliage and pale knobbed ornaments decorate the letter's stem and curled terminal.
