Instructions upon the Hautboy

An engraved plate on a book page shows a man in 18th-century dress reclining on the grass beside a low stone wall, playing a wind instrument while he sits among tall trees. Fine hatched lines render the foliage, sky, and figure in a monochrome print, with a faint inscription at lower right.
