Japanese White-eye and Titmouse on a Camellia Branch
A woodblock print of two small birds on a branching camellia stem. A pale green bird with a thin beak perches at left on a twig, while a grey-and-buff bird with a dark cap sits at right. Red camellia blossoms and glossy dark leaves frame them against a pale ground that darkens to blue at the top.
Look closer: A small seal in red and a signature in black ink appear at the lower left, beside the sheet's calligraphic inscription.
