Jar

A squat, rounded white porcelain jar with a short, flared neck. Its body is covered in overlapping fan-shaped petals, combed and incised beneath a pale glaze that catches light on the shoulder. The restrained, unpainted surface relies entirely on carved texture and form.

Look closer: Fine combed lines radiate within each fan petal, visible as a texture along the lower edge of the foot.
