Jar (Hu)
A round-bodied stoneware jar with a flared neck and a low foot, its shoulder and upper body banded with incised birds, scrolls and geometric motifs under an olive-brown glaze. Four small applied loop handles sit at the shoulder, and the lower body fades to a warm reddish-brown.
Look closer: Small applied loop handles on the shoulder, easy to overlook against the incised bands.
