Jar with dragon handles
A squat, rounded jade jar of pale celadon nephrite with a short cylindrical neck. Two sinuous dragons, carved in openwork, form the handles at either side, while lower relief dragons with curling limbs wind across the body. The translucent stone shows subtle tonal variation.
Look closer: Small carved dragon heads peek out from the openwork at the handle joints.
