Jesus in the Temple

A dark-toned painting shows a young boy in a long tunic standing center, hands lifted, before bearded elders in robes and caps seated on a raised platform in a columned hall. Onlookers stand on stairs behind, and a seated man in a dark cloak and a pale-robed figure sit at right beside a draped table with a book.
