Gunner and Sutler Woman, 1616 etching

An etching shows two figures on a dirt ground beside a tree: a young man in a plumed hat and loose tunic strides forward with a long staff, while a second figure in a fur-trimmed cap leans toward him. A dog walks at their feet, and a cannon barrel and torch rise at right beside a distant town.
