Long aged engraved key sheet with rows of small numbered portrait heads of men in period dress above columns of printed names.

Key plate to Copley's print of the death of Lord Chatham, 1791

A long horizontal engraved key sheet shows rows of small numbered portrait heads of men in wigs and eighteenth-century dress, packed into a crowded group above columns of printed names. The aged, browned paper has a script heading and worn edges, with the tiny figures reading as a legend to a larger scene.
