King David charming birds and beasts

A robed, turbaned figure stands beneath a leafy tree beside pink flowering shrubs, while antelope, a sheep or goat, a rabbit and birds gather around him and fly in the sky. Painted in opaque color and gold on paper within a blue and gold decorative border, the scene has a soft, muted palette.
