Lady with water basin

A young woman in a pale blue robe with black trim sits on a low wooden bench, holding a folded white cloth in both hands. A shallow basin of water rests at the left edge of the table, and her red sash and red tassel add warm accents. Thin outlines and soft hand coloring define the figure against a plain tan ground.

Look closer: A red tassel hangs from a dark ring below the table, at the bottom center of the figure's skirt.
