Lead figure of a warrior with a helmet, shield, and spear
A small cast lead figure of a helmeted warrior stands in profile, his round shield with radiating ridges held across the body. The crested helmet and the spear-arm are shaped in simple, flattened relief, and the piece shows wear and corrosion on its surface. Against the pale ground, the silhouette reads clearly.
Look closer: Radiating ridges on the shield face form a wheel-like pattern around a central boss.
