Li Wenzhong Clears the North
A polychrome woodblock print showing a mounted general thrusting a long spear from a richly decorated boat over churning waves, while a rival warrior on a white horse approaches from the right. Bold blue, red and green colors, pennants and a stylized dragon in the clouds frame the scene, with the title inscribed in large characters above.
Look closer: A small red seal or signature mark appears near the lower left edge of the print.
