Lichas Bringing the Garment of Nessus to Hercules
An engraving shows two bearded men in a classical courtyard: a muscular Hercules, bare-chested with a lion skin over one arm, grips a club while a cloaked servant holds out a folded garment. Behind them, a rotunda and tiny distant figures appear, with a Latin inscription across the top, all in fine black line work.
