Lobed bowl with a royal inscription
A shallow silver bowl with a ring of raised, teardrop-shaped lobes radiating from a plain central boss. An inscription runs around the rim, and the polished surface catches soft light against a dark ground. The form follows Achaemenid metalwork of the fifth century BCE.
Look closer: A small chip interrupts the rim on the right edge, and the inscription band circles the whole rim.
