Lohan (Arhat) Holding a Fu Dog

A seated figure of a bearded lohan, or arhat, smiles as he cradles a small green fu dog against his shoulder. His pale robe is edged with aubergine, and he sits on a throne-like chair above a pedestal decorated with green wave patterns. The porcelain is painted in famille verte enamels.
