Lotus-Enthroned Buddha Akshobhya, the Transcendent Buddha
A gilt-bronze seated Buddha sits in meditation on a lotus pedestal, his right hand touching the earth in the bhumisparsha gesture. Ornate scrolled supports and flanking figures frame the throne above a stepped base.
Look closer: Small seated figures are carved into the side supports of the throne.
