Red chalk drawing of a standing figure in Roman armor holding a long staff, with a billowing cloak on gray paper.

Louis XV as a Roman Emperor

A standing figure in classical armor and a flowing cloak holds a long staff, drawn in red chalk with white highlights on gray paper. The body turns slightly, and drapery sweeps across the torso and billows behind, with loose sketched lines around the feet and a faint inscription at lower left.

Look closer: A small mark sits in the bottom right corner of the sheet.
