Lu Tong and Servant

A bearded scholar in loose robes sits on a rock beneath drooping pine branches, while a servant sleeps on a mat at left. A small kettle on a brazier rests in the lower right, and distant hills fade into pale grey wash. The brushwork is loose and economical, with soft tones suggesting mist and quiet leisure.

Look closer: A red seal is stamped in the lower right corner beside the signature.
