Mandala Base
A round cloisonné enamel base on a turquoise ground, its surface filled with dark green scrolling vines and blossoms. A large central medallion of yellow, red and blue petals surrounds a smaller rosette, with lotus-like flower forms in white, yellow and red spread across the field.
Look closer: Fine gold wire outlines separate each enamel color, and the rim is edged in gilt metal.
