Mandarin ducks under smartweed

A hanging scroll painting shows a pair of mandarin ducks at the lower left, one with a rust-and-white crest and patterned plumage, beside a rocky shore. Tall stems of smartweed with pink and white blossoms rise on the right, and faint insects hover above on a dark brown silk ground.
