Marble portrait head of Antinoos
A carved marble head of a young man with short, tightly curled hair gathered by a rosette-like ornament above the brow. The smooth face has a straight nose, full lips and heavy-lidded eyes, and the neck is broken off flat at the base, shown on a dark stand against a black background.
Look closer: A rosette-like ornament is set in the curls above the brow.
