Marble portrait of Livia
A white marble head of a woman, carved in high relief with a smooth, idealized face and eyes lowered. Her hair falls in soft, layered waves over the brow and temples, with a bun-like curl at the back. The neck is broken off flat at the base, and the surface shows some wear and small losses.
Look closer: A small chip and worn area on the lower cheek and chin near the broken edge.
