Marble statue of a bearded Hercules
A standing, nude male figure carved in pale marble, bearded and with curly hair, wears a draped lion skin over his left arm and shoulder. His weight rests on one leg beside a tree trunk support, and the base is a round plinth. The figure's musculature is rendered with soft, naturalistic modeling.
Look closer: A small round object, possibly a fruit or apple, is held in the figure's right hand at the chest.
