Hanging scroll painting of two figures beneath a pine tree, one standing in a pale robe and one kneeling in red, with a column of calligraphy beside them.

Matsukaze and Murasame, hanging scroll

A hanging scroll in full color on silk shows a pale-robed standing figure at left and a kneeling figure in a red patterned robe at right, beneath a spreading pine. A column of calligraphy fills the upper left, and muted gold tones and a rocky shore suggest a quiet seaside setting.
