Medal Depicting Marguerite Louise of Orleans (1645–1721)
A dark, circular medal in relief shows a woman's profile bust facing left, her head wrapped in a veil and her shoulders draped with a cloak and a row of beads. Around the rim, raised Latin lettering reads MARGARITA and AVRELIAN, partly legible, within a plain border.
