Meiping Vase with Cloud Collars and Peony Sprays
A tall, pale porcelain meiping vase with a narrow neck, rounded shoulders and a tapering foot. Incised cloud collars and peony sprays are barely visible beneath the even white glaze, giving the surface a soft, carved texture.
Look closer: Faint incised peony sprays wind across the lower body, visible only at a low angle of light.
