Engraved scene of a man in a trance beneath a large tree

A black-and-white engraving shows a broad, leafy tree over a low stone wall where several seated figures gather. A rider on a donkey and two standing men appear in the foreground, while a small inset at lower left shows figures near a thatched shed. A French caption runs beneath the scene.
