Military Exercises: Three Drummers
An etching shows three drummers in profile, each in a wide-brimmed hat and short military coat, walking left to right across an empty ground, with drums slung at their hips and sticks raised. Fine ink lines on pale paper form a small plate with a wide margin, and a Latin inscription sits below the figures.
